Life has a way of surprising us. We make plans, set timelines, and imagine how things should go — and then suddenly, everything changes.
Today is one of those days for me. I have all my posts set and ready for the rest of the year…. but my laptop has suddenly stopped. Someone once said, adulthood is basically just solving problems. So I have to restrategize and find a new way to move things forward.
When plans fail, we usually have two choices:
pause completely or adapt and move forward.
Here are a few lessons I’m learning:
1. Pause, but don’t quit
Taking a moment to breathe helps, but giving up only delays progress.
I was hoping my computer would reset itself yesterday so I was just giving it time.. maybe it also needed me time… Who knows (lol)
2. Use what you have
Even limited tools can still move you forward if you’re willing to adjust.
So, I am currently using the wordpress app (didn’t know that was a thing) it’s quite limited but it pushes the needle forward.
3. Focus on solutions, not setbacks
Problems demand attention, but solutions deserve more energy.
I’m even using the situation as a blog post… Thumbs up for me!
4. Progress doesn’t have to be perfect
Showing up imperfectly is still showing up.
It’s late… But here I am.
Sometimes the plan changing is the lesson itself. And sometimes, the obstacle is simply asking us to be more flexible, more patient, and more creative.
If things didn’t go as planned for you today, remember:
you’re not stuck — you’re just being redirected.
So no thumbnail… No SEO… Just life sometimes.
Let’s see what happens tomorrow because there is no light and my phone battery is low. Hope to see you then!
