August was a month full of lessons, little wins, and plenty of Naija adventures. From the stress of daily cooking to the quiet moments when God reminded me of the power of consistency, this month stretched me in ways I didn’t expect. Today, I’m taking you behind the scenes of my writing, faith, and everyday life in Nigeria — the real moments that shaped me and the goals I’m carrying into September.
My Pastor declared this month the month of conscious truth and I was determined to live in the reality of this word this month. So I was especially focused on the Word of God and Prayer, determined to live my life according to God’s perfect design and boy did I!

- I showed up for my writing consistently, whether through blog posts, book chapters, or newsletters. The words kept flowing, and I leaned into my voice more boldly.
- My brand messaging became clearer — I embraced the “Canadian Babe turned Naija Wife” persona with confidence and wove faith, humor, and lifestyle seamlessly into my content.
- I made my first sale on my e-book The Beautiful You: Redefining Beauty According To God’s Terms! That was exciting. (Hello, have you bought your copy?)
💡 Lessons
- Consistency is more powerful than perfection. Even when I felt scattered, showing up in small but intentional ways kept my momentum alive.
- Nigeria continues to challenge me in unexpected ways (I’ll give you that story another day), but I’m learning to turn daily frustrations into stories that connect with others.
