It has been two weeks on my new skincare journey. I need to make some adjustments to my routine because I want to change the texture of my skin and also address the hyperpigmentation in certain areas. I was thinking that the water might be a challenge so I have switched to using bottled water. Then I found that the soap I normally use is too harsh for my sensitive skin so I got a new one. Finally, hydration, hydration, hydration. I need to drink more water y’all. It takes me two to three business days to finish one bottle of water and that has to stop.

So, I’ve gone the whole two weeks using bottled water to wash my face. I’ve been washing my face both in the morning and in the evening, only sleeping with my makeup on once. I bought the most luxurious and hydrating serum from Zaron. It actually motivates me to wash my face at night because it is so hydrating. I love putting it on. Then in the morning, after washing, I ice my face and add my sunscreen and moisturizer before doing my makeup.
I’ve really noticed a change in the texture of my skin and I believe that it is because of the Zaron hydrating serum. This is the third bottle I’m using and as I mentioned in my previous post, my skin has been looking so smooth when I do my makeup.
if you noticed in the pictures, I have this inflammation around my nose and cheeks. That is what made me start icing my face. It doesn’t seem like the water is the issue. The issue was actually the black soap I was using. Black soap is naturally a little harsh and I have sensitive skin. I’ve had to switch to a honey and tumeric soap, which is not causing any issues so far.
I want to stay as natural as possible with my skincare products. Please, if you have any suggestions, leave them in the comments. I’ll update you in another two weeks.
